Is it necessary to take third dose of vaccine against Covid-19?

Every disease has its own criteria to take a dose of medicine. Like in case of Hepatitis only one vaccine is enough for whole life, you need not to take it for next time. In case of polio and Tetanus require regular dose of vaccines to protect against virus. While for Influenza, vaccine is required in every autumn, but if we discuss about Covid, which comes out with serious contagious condition various trials have been made to check out its effectiveness. Many researches show that after one vaccine we can overcome its action but after short time it will prove more serious than before, therefore scientists demonstrate to take more than one vaccines.

Researches are in progress to find out how long the vaccine will work to boost up immunity against Covid. After first vaccine some flue Jabs are experienced by some persons. It is not necessary that same situation may happen with every individual. But for older persons risks to having flue Jabs are greater. We will need Covid vaccines every year to boost up immunity to protect against winter surges and new variants.

People seem to think that the end of lockdown is the end, but it's not, you need to have top ups and constant monitoring," says Prof Brown. "In the end it will be endemic rather than pandemic."

Prof Brown says patients in wards are offered to take vaccines but they have chosen not to take vaccine. People got afraid of vaccine. They think they would be more vulnerable to Covid after taking vaccine. This situation would become more critical.

Covid vaccine

Many investigations are done to check its side effects. Jamila Hussain, a palliative care doctor working at Bradford Royal Infirmary. She has worked to take care of Covid patients, she experienced the most critical situation of dying patients during the pandemic. She is one of those who take first step to take vaccine. As a Healthcare doctor, most people rely on what would she suggest about side effects of vaccine. She answered their all questions by saying 'Look, I'm not only willing to have the full vaccine, but I'm going to go and be part of this trial, because I trust the scientists.' That did have a big bearing on wanting to be a part of it."
