Dried damson is very tasty to eat and is also used for flavoring in food but scientists say that damson is very good for health but if used dry it can reduce many types of cancer especially colon cancer. Nancy Turner, a researcher at A&M University in Texas, says that dried damson have the potential to increase the number of 'colonomicrobiota' (beneficial bacteria in the stomach), which is why the chances of Large colon cancer are reduced.

Nancy says there are millions of bacteria in our stomachs, of which only about 400 have complete information, and if dried damson are used regularly, the number of beneficial bacteria will increase. It seems that the risk of colon cancer is reduced.

Health benefits of dried and fresh damson

 Experts say that there is a slight difference in the characteristics of dried damson and fresh damson and they have their own effect. It contains fiber that is not found in fresh damson. Dried damson contains a type of sugar called 'sorbitol’ which increases the number of beneficial bacteria in our stomach and small intestine.

Increase number of antioxidants:

Its use increases the number of antioxidants in the stomach and intestines. Inflammatory bacteria in the intestine begin to decrease and we are protected from colon cancer. Dried potato juice eliminates iron deficiency in the body. Vitamin A in this fruit is considered to be an important source of potassium in the body, it also helps in fullness of bones and removal of joints.
